The camp happened on July 19, a day before the seventh anniversary of the Aurora Theater Shooting in which Golditch was a survivor. Golditch helped Gateway coach Taylor Calvert run kids between the ages of 5 and 14 through drills and also shared stories of his journey from high school to the pro ranks. Still, he will have a chance to continue to live his dream of playing professional football.īefore he headed off to training camp with the Chiefs - which begins July 27 at Missouri Western State University - Golditch helped run the Gateway Olys Youth Football Camp for the second straight season. Golditch has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, an archenemy of the Denver Broncos. The former Gateway High School star offensive lineman has been on the roster or practice squad of four previous franchises - the Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals - but the new uniform he will don is definitely less well-received. Zack Golditch has found the reaction to his signing with his latest National Football League team a little bit less enthuastic locally.
